With a partner, create your own contemporary zombie epidemic. Together, write a 1-2 page narrative detailing the answers to the following questions, in narrative form. Additionally, please create a drawing of your zombie (it can be a crude drawing).
1) How did the epidemic begin?
2) Where does your story take place and why?
3) How do your zombies turn others into zombies? Or do they?
4) Which cultural issues/fears/fantasies do your zombies embody?
5) What are your zombies like physically? Are they fast? Slow? Can they talk? Think? Are they wearing clothes? Why did you choose each of these elements? What do they connect to culturally?
6) Who wins? Why?
You will share these with the class tomorrow.
